What is

Arm Lift?

Arm Lift (Brachioplasty) is a type of cosmetic surgery that can improve the appearance of your upper arms. It involves tightening sagging skin, supportive tissue and smoothing over remaining skin. Surgeons also remove pockets of fat. It makes your arms appear more sculpted in a way that exercise and diet alone can’t.

Details of Arm Lift

How soon will I notice results?

You’ll notice changes in the shape and tone of your upper arms immediately after surgery. Longer-term changes include:

  • Swelling and bruising, which may subside in a few weeks.
  • Scars may fade somewhat but never fully disappear.
  • Some recurrent looseness.
  • Sagging can occur naturally with further aging.

People also ask

How painful is an arm lift?

Discomfort. Discomfort is common early after brachioplasty. You will likely have bruising, swelling, redness, and mild to moderate discomfort during the first week or two of recovery. Oral pain medications can reduce any pain during this time.

How long does an arm lift last?

In most cases, a mini facelift will last around ten years easily before another lift is needed. A full facelift can last approximately double that at twenty years. Many patients find that the results last even longer with a few more years for both the mini facelift and full facelift.
